Noise mavericks announce performance documentary

Boredoms have announced that a DVD documentary of their drumming extravaganza, '77 Boadrum', will be released on Thrill Jockey Records on 7 September.

The performance, which took place in a park in Brooklyn on 7 July, 2007 at 7:07 PM, and involved 77 drummers, was filmed by Boredoms chronicler Jun Kawaguchi, as well as numerous web-TV sites and anonymous Youtube users. Kawaguchi then compiled the footage into an 89-minute film, featuring interviews, behind the scenes footage, and extensive coverage of the performance itself.
