Plus remix rework tracklist revealed

With only a month to go until the release of Liars' incredible Sisterworld album, Mute have unveiled the mysterious album artwork that the band had a great deal of trouble explaining to the Quietus when we talked to them recently.

The helpful diagram at the foot of this piece, and the picture of Angus Andrew having a go on his record, shows how the concertina sleeve to Sisterworld works. All hail the Compact Disc as artefact, not mere coaster.

The band have also revealed full details of the second disc of Sisterworld, which features remixes and covers by a mouthwatering array of Liars' contemporaries and influences. You can see that below - check the site on Monday for an interview with the band about how these collaborations took place:

'Scissor' - By Pink Dollaz, Lance Whitaker & Transformation Surprise

'No Barrier Fun' - By Duetonal (Alan Vega / Suicide)

'Here Comes All The People' - By Atlas Sound (Bradford Cox)

'Drip' - By Kazu Makino (Blonde Redhead)

'Scarecrows On A Killer Slant' - By Tunde Adebimpe (TV On The Radio)

'I Still Can See An Outside World' - By Boyd Rice (NON)

'Proud Evolution' - Thom Yorke 500qd Remix

'Drop Dead' - By Fol Chen

'The Overachievers' - By Devendra Banhart & The Grogs

'Goodnight Everything' - By Melvins

'Too Much, Too Much' - By Carter Tutti (Throbbing Gristle)
