The Day the Clown Cried

Yeah, this one’s a bit of a cheat. Jerry Lewis’ maudlin holocaust comedy was filmed and edited and — to this day — exists somewhere. Only a handful of people have seen it (Harry Shearer allegedly has a print) and their bemused reaction has only added to the movie’s mystique as one of the worst and most misguided films ever made. If you ever do get to see it, it will have to be without Lewis’ blessing, as he seems determined never to show it to anyone.
