The exhibition of paintings inspired by the band's 21st Century Breakdown will be held at the StolenSpace Gallery in from 22nd of October until 1st of November, after artists were sent lyrics from the album and asked to create a piece of artwork that reflected the record.

It will open two days before Green Day's two sold-out dates at the O2 Arena in London.

Singer Billie Joe Armstrong said: "We‘re really excited to be associated with this incredible show.

"Seeing the pieces that our new album has inspired is very exciting. We feel a strong connection to that type of creative expression; we think the fans coming out will love it."
