Eight records to be re-released

Quietus favourites Kraftwerk are set to unleash a monster set of reissues with the release of 12345678: The catalogue .

Eight of the band's albums will be repackaged, starting with 1974's classic album Autobahn. The other records will be Radioactivity (1975), Trans Europe Express (1977), The Man Machine (1978), Computer World (1981), Techno Pop (1986), The Mix (1991) and Tour de France (2003).

The collection can be bought as eight individual CDs, eight individual vinyl sleeves, a CD box set, or as a digital download.

All of which is momentous news, but where are Kraftwerk, Kraftwerk 2 and Ralf und Florian? We can only assume that it has something to do with the epic flute solo on 'Ruckzuck' from Kraftwerk. . . .
