Warp20 heading to place of birth

Warp Records will be paying tribute to its Sheffield birthplace for the next leg of the Warp20 series of events to mark the anniversary of the label's founding.

To commemorate 20 years since their first white label release - 'Track With No Name' by Forgemasters - Warp are getting stuck into the very fabric of the city with events in some of its post-industrial landmarks.

A free Warp Films cinema event will be held at the listed Park Hill Flats. This will feature the English premiere of All Tomorrow's Parties: The Movie, along with other features, shorts and music videos.

There's also an all night club event at the award winning Q-Park (for cars, not squirrels and shrubs) which will feature Squarepusher, Clark, Nightmares On Wax, Andrew Weatherall (playing a set including material by Sabres of Paradise), Hudson Mowhawke and Harmonic 313. Tickets go on sale at Bleep.com on July 31.
