Solve puzzles to hear 'United States of Eurasia'

How much time do you have on your hands? And how desperate are you to hear a new track from Muse?

If the answer to those questions is 'A lot' and 'I'm wetting my pants in anticipation', then you can participate in the global treasure hunt Muse have put on.

The band have hidden USB sticks throughout the world each containing a puzzle that, when completed, unlocks a brief snippet of 'United States Of Eurasia' that will appear on their forthcoming album The Resistance, released September 14.

The sticks are hidden in Berlin, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Moscow, Paris and Dubai where they are under the protection of 'agents'. Each stick contains a code which must be entered at www.ununitedeurasia.muse.mu.

A puzzle is then unlocked which, when completed, unlocks a part of the song.

The USB stick in Paris has already been found and the puzzle solved, which means that a small part of the song can now be heard on the website. The Berlin stick has been found, but the puzzle has not been completed.

Keep checking the website for clues about the location of the USB sticks. Or, you could just let someone else do the hard work and listen to the song when all the puzzles have been found.
