Clark And Plaid To Play Koko This Weekend
The Quietus , July 3rd, 2009 07:07

Warp mainstays Clark and Plaid to play rare gig at Koko Saturday to promote Clark's latest, Totems Flare.

Until recently, Clark used to be one of those rare artists whose Spotify search yields the correct profile but entirely the wrong songs - in his case that of 60s blonde female soul singer Chris Clark. The good folks at Spotify have since rectified the situation but it was quite funny to hear silky voiced motown emminating from the mischevious looking, hoody-clad student in the photo.

For anyone who is still confused, you can see Clark and his signature brand of dense and glitchy yet melodic laptop electronica live this Saturday at London's Koko. He will be supported by Warp legends Plaid with appearances by Tim Exile and Luke Vibert.

If you see any lost R&B types at the gig, you should probably set them straight.

Totems Flare is out 13 July.
