Cult-rock heroes the Pixies have announced details of a European tour later this year.

Frank Black, Kim Deal et al are setting off on the road to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their seminal album Doolittle.

They will play the record in its entirety at each show.

The band will play the following dates:

October 1 & 2 Dublin Olympia October 4 Glasgow SECC October 6,7,8 & 9 Brixton O2 Academy October 11 Frankenfurt Jahrhunderhalle October 13 Amsterdam Heineken Music Hall October 14 Brussels Forest National October 15 Paris Zenith
