In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the era-defining festival that was Woodstock, Sony/Legacy will be releasing a limited edition series of deluxe, double disc recordings by Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Johnny Winter, Sly and The Family Stone, and Santana.
‘The Woodstock Experience’ pairs a classic 1969 album from each featured artist along with their full performance at the festival, and is the first time these recordings have been put on CD in their entirety. Also included in the deluxe set are a mini-version of the original album cover and a 16 X 20 inch double-sided fold-out poster.
