Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock (1984)

Sandwiched chronologically between two of the more iconic instalments — the previous with greater bombast and the next with better entertainment value — The Search For Spock remains a fun, well-rounded movie. Notable for featuring Christopher Lloyd, who makes a splendid Klingon. Good music too — even if it is mostly nicked from Khan.
