One can only imagine what the working relationship between Lynch and Stanton was like. Both are notoriously controlling about their output and both are passionate about their alternative/eastern philosophy (Lynch with his transcendental meditation and Stanton with reincarnation).I suppose if history is pre-planned and you're just channeling creative forces, there's really no need for any second takes.
