Gerald Donald takes his hand to 'Zig-Zag'
Glaswegian beat-bane Rustie will return with a new EP later this month, report FACT.
In a hook up with the people at Wireblock, the five-tracks of Bad Science will arrive some time in the next couple of weeks, though a limited number of white labels are available now through Rubadub Records.
Highlights come in the form of the title track’s frantic bass synths and a remix of the much hailed ‘Zig-Zag’ by Heinrich Mueller, not the former Gestapo leader but the Teutonic alter-ego of Detroit techno producer Gerald Donald, whose work as Dopplereffekt is apparently much-loved by Rustie.
You can hear the ‘Heinrich Mueller’ refit of ‘Zig-Zag’ here.
