4. And You Thought Your Parents Were Weird

This film reaches a zenith in that it combines body-swapping with another bizarre phenomena in sub-par 80s comedies: the kooky inventor dad. The twist here is that the dad is dead and has inhabited the form of one of his inventions, a clunky R2D2-style robot. With cult potential like that, it's a wonder this film has never been released on DVD.
