The Quietus , February 13th, 2009 05:34

Will they get their own Top Ten?

U2 are to join American sofa chinwag telly programme Late Show with David Letterman for a five night residency on the week of the release of their new album No Line On The Horizon.

The band will be in New York to promote No Line On The Horizon. It marks the first time a band has been given a residency on the show... surely Voice Of The Simpsons Paul Shaffer get jealous?

U2's No Line On The Horizon is released on March 2nd.
