Franz Ferdinand play mouth watering gig in East London's best record shop

Following in the footsteps of Radiohead, post punk styled indie outfit Franz Ferdinand celebrate the launch of their new single 'Ulysses' with a free gig at Rough Trade.

Fans of the band are being offered a chance to get up close and cosy with the four piece amongst the racks tomorrow night (Monday) at 8.30pm. To get a wristband to get into the gig you have to buy a copy of the single from the store during the day but if the chaotic scenes that happened with last year's Radiohead gig, early attendance will be advisable.

Here's what Rough Trade themselves have to say about the gig:

  1. Get yourselves over to Rough Trade East ASAP from 10am (Monday 19th January).
  2. Purchase the new 'Ulysses' single which is £3.50 (this bags you both 7" singles and the CD!)
  3. Receive one wristband for the evening's gig.

Once you've got your wristband you don't need to hang around, just be back for 8.30pm.

We'll see you down the front.

For directions to the store and terms and conditions visit the Rough Trade website.
