Placebo Announce Gig In Cambodia

First ever rock concert at the UNESCO world heritage-listed 12th century temple.

Placebo announced today that they are due to perform as part of a historic MTV event at the Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia.

The concert which is due to take place on the 7th of December, is part of the MTV Exit (End Exploitation and Trafficking) campaign, and is being organised to raise awareness and increase prevention of people trafficking – a crime impacting millions of people worldwide.

In a statement, the members of the band said: "We are incredibly proud to perform at this important concert.

"We hope that through our music and involvement in this event and the MTV EXIT campaign that millions of people learn about this tragic form of slavery."
