The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

The real feat was adapting your memoirs using one eyelid. Making the film was a piece of cake. Julian Schnabel just had to learn French. He did create a very compelling film which jumps from the stark reality of 'locked in syndrome' to sweeping fantastical images which he is always best at.
