The bonza musical group All Tomorrow's Parties has cast its net even further by announcing the launch of a festival in Australia to be curated by Nick Cave.
The moustachioed balladeer has already been much involved with the ATP festival with both The Bad Seeds and Grinderman playing Minehead.
The festival, which will take place at the Mt Buller alpine resort in Victoria, will occur over three days from the 9th till the 11th of January next year and will coincide with the release of a new Grinderman album.
As yet no bands have been announced but we at The Quietus will probably start swimming now if some of the following are considered to play or reform.
The Drones
The Scientists
Birthday Party
Radio Birdman
The Saints
The Triffids
AC/DC
The Dirty Three
Grinderman
Bad Seeds
My Disco
Kim Salmon and the Surrealists
Severed Heads
Dead Can Dance
Kylie
Fuck . . . I'm Dead
