The Coup Party Music
There's bad luck and then there's bad luck. Relatively righteous hip hop outfit The Coup were set to release Party Music at the begining of September, 2001. I mean really, it's not like anyone else would have seen it coming bar a couple of very well connected Saudi MCs. Even more bizarre was Coup member Boots Riley's campaign to keep the original artwork, and not seeing how some may have found it offensive.
