LISTEN: Chrome Canyon Mixtape

Chrome Canyon sets his controls for the heart of his Minimoog on an exclusive mixtape for the Quietus ahead of the release of his debut album next month

New York-based synth-pop revivalist Morgan Z is releasing Elemental Themes, his first album as Chrome Canyon, on October 9 via Stones Throw.

Z’s previously turned his hand to reworkings of Phoenix and Passion Pit, and Elemental Themes is the end-result of his experiments with the mass of gear filling his Brooklyn studio to the rafters.
