The Avalanches have released a new demo, ‘A Cowboy Overflow of the Heart’ via their website, report Pitchfork – listen in exchange for registering here.
The track features David Berman of the Silver Jews, and is the first new material he’s released since that group disbanded.
It’s been over a decade since the Australian outfit, known for their hip hop-rooted electronica and passion for utilising a variety of obscure and unlikely samples, have released anything aside from a few remixes. However, there’s been recent speculation that they’ve been working on a full-length LP, which this demo release would also suggest.
