Killing Joke frontman Jaz Coleman has appeared "alive and kicking" in western Sahara, report the Guardian.
In a post on their Facebook page yesterday, the band wrote: "To the relief of family and friends, Killing Joke Frontman Jaz Coleman appeared today from his retreat in the Western Sahara bemused by all the fuss of his disappearance".
Apparently oblivious "to the fuss of his disappearance", Coleman states in the post that he spent his impromptu trip working on a new solo album, as well as a project called ‘The Nirvana Symphonic’, "a TV show and a concert in Seattle in 2013".
Originally reported missing on July 31 following a dispute over plans to tour with bands The Cult and The Mission, Coleman was alleged to have posted on the band’s Facebook page stating that they would be pulling out of the tour. This is now thought to have been the work of a fan, with Coleman hoping to "find out who has been impersonating him".
While many fans have been disgruntled by Coleman’s chaotic behaviour, which has caused the cancellation of a number of tour dates, Killing Joke are urging fans to keep their ticket stubs so they can "do their best to make amends".
