Peter Gabriel’s classic 1986 album So is getting a 25th anniversary reissue on October 22 via Real World Records. The LP is Gabriel’s biggest-seller, featuring ‘Don’t Give Up’, ‘Big Time’ and the MTV mainstay ‘Sledgehammer’.
It’ll be available as a single re-mastered CD, as well as in a three CD special edition featuring two discs of Gabriel’s concert in Athens in 1987. Finally, there’s a limited edition deluxe box set, featuring the album, the live CDs, a couple of previously unreleased DVD’s – the Martin Scorsese executive-produced film of the Athens concert and the So: Classic Album making-of documentary – a 60-page book of liner notes and rare photographs and a AA-side vinyl featuring the previously unreleased tracks ‘Courage’ and ‘Sagrada’, as well as alternative versions of ‘Don’t Give Up’.
