Feather-headed songstress Bat For Lashes has a new album imminent, along with a UK tour in support.
Two Suns is released on April 6th 2009, and apparently has nothing to do with the home planet of Luke Skywalker, but deals with "the philosophy of the self and duality", while "metaphysical ideas about the connectedness of existence are also close to the album’s heart". The themes are apparently voiced through Natasha Khan’s "inner character Pearl, the destructive blonde femme fatale that represents one extreme of her personality".
Back in the world of real personalities, Bat For Lashes has worked with both Yeasayer and Scott Walker on Two Suns
