Those infamous denim-clad Norwegian devils Turbonegro are set to return with their first album since friend of the Quietus Tony Sylvester joined as vocalist last year, and debuted with a blazing set at Supersonic. Sexual Harassment is set for release through Volcom Entertainment on June 13th, and if the album’s first single ‘You Give Me Worms’ is anything to go by, it promises blistering business as usual.
In advance of the album’s release, ‘You Give Me Worms’ is available as of today through iTunes – click here to buy it.
Sexual Harassment was recorded in January this year by Gus Oberg in New York, and produced by Matt Sweeney. We’re promised riches aplenty from Sylvester, Euroboy, Rune Rebellion, Happy Tom and Tommy Manboy, with an album that "showcases Turbonegro’s roots in hardcore punk, 80s alternative, the thrift-store riffs of The Stooges and The Stones, platform-booted glitter rock, and spectacular bubblegum radio music of any era – all executed with an attitude that’s unmistakably Turbonegro."
Oh, go on then.
