As we previously reported, the inimitable Perc Trax label are set to release Forward Strategy Group’s hulking beast of a debut album Labour Division later this month. Having spent a couple of weeks with the album, we can clarify that the label’s played another blinder – the Leeds/Edinburgh-based duo have crafted a distinctly British slice of darkly beautiful techno that sits perfectly alongside label boss Perc’s blistering Wicker & Steel album.
In advance of its release on May 28th, Perc Trax are putting out Labour Division EP1 on 12" vinyl, which collects together three of the album’s choice cuts alongside remixes by all three members of Factory Floor: Nik Colk Void (last heard coaxing out gritty drone on single ‘Gold E’), FFGG, and a third remix by Dominic Butler. We’re very happy to present the FFGG remix, a bounding electro cut, available for your listening pleasure via the embed above.
