Ten Of The Best: Pearl Jam Reissue Debut

Vedder's crew roll back the years with newly buff and expanded packages. Oo-er, etc.

Pearl Jam will reissue their 12 million-selling debut Ten, one of the records frequently cited as helping to kick-start the grunge explosion of the early ’90s.

The album, originally released in 1991, will be made available in four new and expanded editions from March 23rd next year, and serves as the launch of a reissue campaign leading up to the band’s 20th anniversary in 2011.

Each Ten package will include two versions of the album – the remastered version of the original release, plus an accompanying remixed version done by the band’s long-time producer, Brendan O’Brien (Bruce Springsteen, AC/DC, Audioslave).

Album extras found across the four LP editions will include a

DVD of a previously-unreleased MTV Unplugged performance, a recording of the band’s 1992 ‘Drop In The Park’ concert, a copy of the band’s three-song demo cassette with Eddie Vedder’s original vocal dubs, a replica of one of Vedder’s composition notebooks, and bonus tracks including ‘Brother’, ‘Just A Girl’, ‘State Of Love And Trust’, ‘Breath And A Scream’, ‘2,000 Mile Blues’ and ‘Evil Little Goat’.

Pre-orders of the Super Deluxe Edition begin today (Dec 10) through the band’s Ten Club at www.pearljam.com.
