Grizzly Bear’s Daniel Rossen releases a new EP this week through Warp Records. Entitled Silent Hour/Golden Mile, it’s a stripped back, graceful thing that brings to mind some of Rossen’s parent band’s more contemplative moments. We’re pleased to have been given the entire EP to stream – listen via the embed below.
"Whenever possible, I like just keeping the very first impression of an idea the first take of something," said Rossen of the EP, whose tracks were mostly recorded swiftly, often in only a few takes. "You very rarely get to do that because the recording quality is below standard. It’s very liberating to just leave it.”
