Liars: New Album In June

Over the past couple of months we’ve been very intrigued by the regular postings on Liars’ Amateur Gore Tumblr. These short clips of strange recordings – mic held aloft to capture a passing blimp, knives being sharpenend, a hair clipper bouncing around – have suggested an interesting new direction for the LA-based group. Now, The Stool Pigeon told our early mornign head that the group have put up a compendium of these snippets, with added decaying banana skins, airports, popcorn and studio shots over at the Liars website with the news sat at the end that their sixth album will be out in June, around the time of their visit to the UK for Field Day. This is Great News Indeed.
