Laibach To Play Tate Modern Turbine Hall

EINS ZWEI DREI VIER!

As part of their current European tour, NSK industrial pop group Laibach are to play a gig in the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern gallery in London. AIEEEEE! This performance, announced on Facebook this morning, is described as a "special extended show", and will take place on April 14th 2012. The Quietus is very much hoping that ‘special extended show’ means not just a set of NSK anthems like ‘Opus Dei’, ‘Tanz Mit Laibach’ and ‘Sympathy For The Devil’, but also a live soundtrack to Iron Sky, which premiered at the Berlinale the other week. Check out the trailer for the Nazis-from-the-moon flick below, which has had over six million YouTube views in just over a week. Laibach’s soundtrack for Iron Sky will be released on Mute later this year.
