Thrill Jockey are releasing Wooden Shjips’ Remixes 12" next week. Featuring remixes of their music by veteran UK dance producer/DJ Andrew Weatherall, Sonic Boom (aka Pete Kember of Spacemen 3) and Kandodo (aka Simon Price of The Heads), it’s being put out on rather fetching sounding clear vinyl with black streaks.
In advance of its release, the label have made Weatherall’s remix – an extended edit that keeps its scuzzed out, bluesy feel in place while lending it a healthy dancefloor drive – available to stream. Listen below.
