Dan Willson, aka Withered Hand, a member of Fife’s Fence Collective, is to release his first new material in two years as part of Fence’s Chart Ruse series of EPs. The EP, entitled Heart Heart was recorded with Darren Hayman and features fellow Fencer Rozi Plain on backing vocals, and is due for release on February 3rd. For the EP’s launch, Willson is playing a solo show in London at the Shacklewell Arms on 3rd February. He will be playing with Darren Hayman with support from Seamus Fogarty, and tickets will be available from the Fence website.
He will also be playing a full band show, alongside The Pictish Trail and Second Hand Marching Band, in The Caves, Edinburgh, on 1st March. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Saturday 28th January) from the Fence site.
