Eminem Records Genius Successor To ‘Stan’

...or at least that's what his producer pal reckons. Guess who's back, etc.

Eminem’s widely-anticipated sixth studio album will feature a track that’s being touted as ‘part two’ of his 2000 hit single ‘Stan’.

US record producer Swizz Beatz says he has five songs being considered for inclusion on the Detroit rapper’s forthcoming LP, Relapse, and that one of them is the natural heir to the rapper’s Dido-sampling signature tune.

Swizz – real name Kasseem Dean – told MTV: "You know how ‘Stan’… was the big [song]? So I worked on part two, and I think it was, like, totally genius."

He added that the album would sort the shizzle from the bum drizzle with Eminem very much back to "take the cake":

"It’s the Eminem that you missed, that you loved, that you need, especially right now in the industry, going into ’09.

Contributors already revealed for the album, scheduled for release early next year, include Dr Dre and 50 Cent.
