Azari & III have announced a new UK show – the Toronto retro-leaning house quartet will play London’s Heaven on Thursday 2nd February.
It comes as a highly recommended evening: Azari’s live shows have a reputation for being incendiary. Their self-titled debut, a set of melodic, melancholic house bangers packed with references to house music’s entire musical and social history, landed at a very impressive second in our albums of 2011 list.
Azari’s massive, glistening signature track, ‘Reckless (With Your Love)’, is released as a single on 12th February, and though it’s been available on import for quite some time, Azari & III is to see official UK release on 20th February.
