Original Sugababes To Reform?

Popjustice report that Keisha, Mutya and Siobhan Donaghy have been working together

According to a report on Popjustice today, the original Sugababes (i.e. the first three, before inter-band strife and an ever-shuffling line-up stretched the name’s credibility to breaking point) are working together again. Well, ‘Overload’ was a proper tune.

Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy apparently met up last year, after Keisha became the final original member to depart from Brand Sugababes, to speak about making music together again. They are apparently being managed by Felix Howard, and Popjustice mention Emeli Sande, MNEK, Asterix, and Craze & Hoax as potential clues as to the sound of their new music.

Thanks to the legal struggles around the Sugababes name, they apparently won’t be allowed their original moniker back (Mutya owns the rights to Sugababes stationery, but that’s about it).

A reminder.
