St. Vincent played a stomping rendition of The Pop’s Group’s ‘She Is Beyond Good & Evil’ on US talk show Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, while promoting her new album Strange Mercy.

This isn’t the first time that St.Vincent has showed an aptitude for making floor stomping covers of post-punk classics. She played a set of Big Black covers as part of an Our Band Could Be
Your Life themed night at New York’s Bowery Ballroom earlier this summer.
Watch her fantastic rendition of Big Black’s ‘Kerosense’ here:
Do we smell an entire albums worth of seminal post punk covers in the works? As good as Strange Mercy is, we think we’d rather have that- thank you very much.
