Gonjasufi To Release New Mini-Album

MU.ZZ.LE is due for release through Warp in January

Gonjasufi, aka Sumach Ecks, is to release a new mini album through Warp, entitled MU.ZZ.LE., on January 23rd.

The album is touted as a dark and personal spiritual journey through the inner workings of Ecks’ rather brilliant mind – which, to be fair, would also make a pretty accurate description of last year’s debut album A Sufi & A Killer.

When describing the darker themes of this new album Ecks states "There’s a duality that exists, and to deny it is the biggest mistake.” The mystic yoga teacher goes on to say that "MU.ZZ.LE was more like knowing that what comes out of the mouth of man, sets man free and defies them, it was me guarding my words and my tongue. These words are less but I feel like I’m saying more."

Its full tracklist runs as follows:

‘White Picket Fence’

‘Feedin’ Birds’

‘Nikels and Dimes’

‘Rubberband’

‘Venom’

‘Timeout’

‘Skin’

‘The Blame’

‘Blaksuit’

‘Sniffin’’

The album will be released on CD, double 10 inch vinyl, and a special 500 copy limited batch of screen printed A2 posters, which include a download code.
