Lancastrian brides of Beelzebub Demdike Stare head to friend of the Quietus Anthony Chalmer’s GDLI night at the Lexington tonight, and we shall be there. Indeed, our inner goth is torn between the showy shagging gothic of The Horrors at York Hall, and this scraping out the bowel lining for a peculiar ceremony gothic… but the Demdike coven have won out, no doubt thanks to making small dolls of us, and forcing them the march down Pentonville Road. Demdike Stare will be playing music from the excellent and Quietus-loved Triptych, and will be supported by Ghosting Season, doing one of their first shows.
