Fascinating line-up in Newcastle

The already eclectic TUSK Festival has gotten a bit more unclassifiable with its latest slate of artist announcements. Set to be held across several venues in Newcastle-upon-Tyne from October 7th to 9th, the fest has added lo-fi pop/dubstep duo Hype Williams, avant-garde guitar composer Rhys Chatham, electronics enthusiasts Vincent Epplay and Samon Takahashi, and folk stalwarts Cath and Phil Tyler.

The new additions join a lineup that already includes the likes of Bill Orcutt, Alvarius B, Natural Snow Buildings, Pulse Emitter, Hiss Golden Messenger, and Bong, and more acts are still to be announced. Weekend passes are on sale now, and can be purchased here.
