The Quietus is very excited to report that Paul McCartney’s 1980 classic LP McCartney II is to be reissued in super deluxe form this June. The album, which features the genius ‘Temporary Secretary’ has been remastered and will come with loads of bonus audio, DVD footage, and pictures by Linda McCartney in a 128 page special edition book. On the same date, 1970 solo record McCartney will also be reissued. Both releases are part of the ongoing Paul McCartney Archive Collection reissue series. Says the info: "Paul McCartney personally supervised all aspects of these two reissues. The remastering work was done at Abbey Road using the same team who recently remastered the complete Beatles’ catalogue. Both McCartney and McCartney II will be available in a variety of formats originating with the single disc digitally remastered Standard Edition version of each album.
