The Guardian have released the line-up for Glastonbury 2011 – and while we all new that U2 (Friday), Coldplay (Saturday) and Beyonce (Sunday) there are some interesting bits and surprises in there too. On the Friday, Morrissey is the penultimate act, playing shortly after the Wu-Tang Clan. On Saturday, Elbow are on just before Coldplay (which no doubt will have some cruel souls suggesting it’s a two for the price of one deal). Also on the bill are The Master Musicians of Joujouka. We’re full of praise for the West Holts stage, which used to be called the Jazz World, and this year features Omar Souleyman, Nicholas Jaar, Brandt Brauer Frick, Big Boi and Jah Wobble. visit the Guardian site for more information. And if you’re not going to Glastonbury and fancy something heavier, why not come to our Part Chimp, Hey Colossus and Palehorse gig at the Lexington on the Friday night?
