Suede Confirmed For Latitude

Brett & co among first artists announced

The Latitude Festival launch took place in London last night, with Suede, The National and Paulo Nutini confirmed as the three main stage headliners. Also on the bill are OMD, Esben & The Witch, Crystal Fighters, Foals, Glasser, British Sea Power, Anna Calvi, Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan.

They all play between the 14th and 17th July 2011, at the Henham Park Estate near Southwold, Suffolk. It was also last night confirmed that the Festival has agreed rental terms for another fifteen years of Latitudes at the site, which will help provide better facilities.

Treats in store on the non-musical side of the bill include the Hammersmith Lyric theatre, Alan Hollinghurst, Brendon Burns, Simon Armitage, Sadler’s Wells, and our old friends Beef Warehouse playing records and throwing cake. Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan will be onsite doing a Q&A based around their brilliant TV series, The Trip. Some Southwold scollops will no doubt be on the menu. Visit the Latitude website for more information and ticketing details.
