Google Music To Launch Before Xmas

Google’s long-awaited music download service, Google Music, will be making its debut alongside the Google Android 3.0 before the end of 2010, it’s been announced.

Gauray Jain, Product Manager for Google Android, confirmed to an Israeli newspaper that the music service will be released in time for the US holiday season.

The announcement follows Google’s possession of music share software corp Simplify Media in May – an acquisition aimed at planning a cloud-based streaming music solution under the Google name.
