Billy Bragg is this weekend encouraging the citizens of the Capital to bring their guitars along to the South Bank Centre for a mass free busk.
The Even Bigger Busk, as it is called, will take place at the South Bank on Saturday, September 27th at 15.00 and 17.00. The Bard of Barking will lead your gullets and guitars in a mass singalong of traditional London songs.
The Quietus for one is hoping that the mewling anorexic harridan who busks down Oxford Circus tube between the Victoria and Central Lines doesn’t turn up. Verily she has the voice of a wench of Satan.
