Stuart Cable, former drummer with the Stereophonics, has passed away aged 40.
Cable, who was a member of the Welsh band until 2003, was found in his home in Aberdare this morning.
His mother Mable told www.walesonline.co.uk: "Stuart has travelled all over the world with the band and I have worried myself silly. He is now settled down and then this has happens. It has not sunk in yet."
At the time of writing, no cause of death has been confirmed. However, no suspicious circumstances are thought to have been involved.
The Quietus’ thoughts are with Stuart’s family and friends at this time.
