Suede “Too Loud” For Who Frontman

Roger Daltrey deafened at Teenage Cancer Trust gig

The Who might once have held the Guinness World Record for being the Loudest Band In The World, but at last night’s Royal Albert Hall Teenage Cancer Trust gig (read the Quietus review here, singer Roger Daltrey was to be found wandering around telling anyone who cared to listen that Suede were "too loud for me!". Daltrey also told our chum Joe Daniel from Angular Records that although he greatly enjoyed Suede’s set, he had to leave because it was "doin’ me ears in."
