Ben Folds Five Reform

Ivory tinking alt.soulboys Ben Folds Five are to reform for a one-off hometown gig later this month.

The band, who split amicably back in 2000, will play the show in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on September 18th. Ben Folds Five will be doing that most fashionable of things right now: playing one of their records from beginning until the stop button is depressed.

The record in question will be 1999’s The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner, and the gig is happening in conjunction with mySpace. Look! Someone has made an advert:
