Liam Maher Of Flowered Up Died Of Heroin Overdose

Inquest issues official verdict of misuse of drugs

Liam Maher, the late singer of Flowered Up, died of a heroin overdose according to an inquest heard today.

The Camden New Journal has reported that an inquest held today in London ruled that Maher died with eight times the fatal amount of the drug in his bloodstream last October.

Coroner Sean McGovern declared that there was no evidence of suicide, and gave an official verdict of misuse of drugs as the cause of death.

Maher, who released his debut album A Life With Brian with Flowered Up in 1991, was 41 when he died.
