Spiritualized’s 2008 album Songs In A&E is being reissued.
Marking the latest instalment of the band’s Spaceman Reissue Program, the album has been remastered for this updated release. It comes with new artwork, as well as first-time online shares of videos for album tracks ‘Soul On Fire’ and ‘You Lie You Cheat’. You can watch the former above, and the latter here.
Songs In A&E was written and recorded after Spiritualized’s J Spaceman’s near-death experience with double pneumonia. The band’s reissue series launched in 2021 and has now encompassed most of their album releases. This latest reissue follows on from the re-release in January of Amazing Grace.
Fat Possum will release Songs In A&E on June 21, 2024.
